By enrolling in any course offered by Elite CPR, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for our courses.
2. Course Registration
Registration for courses is completed online only. Payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the class.
- All registrations are subject to availability
- Minimum age requirement: 16 years or as specified by course requirements
- Participants must provide accurate contact and professional information
- Spots are only secured upon successful payment completion
3. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Elite CPR, its instructors, employees, and affiliates SHALL NOT be held liable for:
- Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during training sessions
- The application or misapplication of techniques learned in our courses
- Outcomes resulting from emergency response situations where trained individuals apply CPR or related techniques
- Any claims, damages, or expenses arising from participation in our courses
- Medical conditions that may arise or be aggravated during practical training exercises
By participating in Elite CPR training courses, you:
- Acknowledge that CPR training involves physical activity and practical exercises
- Confirm you are physically capable of participating in hands-on training
- Agree to inform instructors of any medical conditions that may affect your participation
- Release Elite CPR and its instructors from all liability related to training activities
- Assume all risks associated with participation in the course
4. Certification
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course, including:
- Attendance for the entire duration of the class
- Demonstration of required skills to instructor satisfaction
- Passing any required written or practical evaluations
- Compliance with Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada standards
5. Instructor Qualifications
All Elite CPR instructors are certified by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and maintain current certifications in the courses they teach. While our instructors provide high-quality training, they are released from any liability regarding how participants apply learned techniques in real-world situations.
6. Course Materials
Course materials, including manuals and digital resources, are copyrighted and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission from Elite CPR and the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
7. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration is used solely for course administration and certification purposes. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required for certification processing.
8. Modifications
Elite CPR reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or course participation shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
10. Training Locations Disclaimer
The training venues listed on this website—including hospitals, colleges, community centres, and other facilities—are spaces that Elite CPR uses under agreement with the respective establishments for the sole purpose of delivering our courses. Elite CPR is an independent training provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected toany of the establishments at which our courses are held.
The names and logos of these establishments remain the property of their respective owners and are used by Elite CPR solely to identify the locations where training is conducted. Neither Elite CPR nor the establishments listed assume any responsibility or liability for the acts, omissions, services, or operations of the other. Any concerns regarding the training itself should be directed to Elite CPR, while matters relating to the premises should be addressed to the establishment in question.
By registering for a course held at any of these locations, you acknowledge that Elite CPR is a separate and independent entity from the host establishment, and that no partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship exists between them.
